Our Story

Nothing Meaningful Grows Alone

iKyl Creative Ventures was built on a belief in connection.

Ideas grow through their relationship with people. Books connect writers with readers. Designs connect belief with daily life. Purpose connects what we create with what it can make possible for someone else.

MiKyl brings those relationships together.

It provides a shared home for distinct creative ventures, allowing each one to develop its own voice while remaining connected to a larger purpose: creating meaningful work that reaches beyond the moment.

Created to Connect

Creativity is often described as an individual act, but meaningful work rarely happens in isolation.

A story needs a reader. An idea needs someone willing to develop it. A calling becomes useful when it meets a real need. Even the smallest creation can become part of a much larger story when it reaches the right person at the right time.

That understanding shapes MiKyl Creative Ventures.

We create with intention, but we also think about relationships—between the work and its audience, between one venture and another, and between what we build today and the good it may help produce tomorrow.

Distinct Ventures, Shared Purpose

MiKyl is home to three companies, each with a different creative purpose.

Mauldin Books publishes meaningful stories shaped by human experience.

Eden Creative Designs creates faith-inspired clothing and gifts centered on grace.

Shepherd’s Way Publications produces books rooted in Scripture, prayer, lived experience, and honest conversation with God.

Each venture has its own identity and audience. MiKyl gives them a common foundation and keeps them connected to their shared values.

Connection Beyond Business

The relationships surrounding MiKyl extend beyond the companies it owns.

Shepherd’s Way Ministries and The Life Purpose Project are being developed as independent nonprofit organizations. Each will have its own mission, leadership, and organizational structure.

What connects them to MiKyl is not ownership. It is a shared desire to help people find encouragement, direction, and practical support.

MiKyl's commercial ventures are being built with the hope that creative work can eventually help make meaningful community work possible.

What The Logo Represents

The MiKyl logo reflects connection, growth, and possibility.

The open book represents ideas given form and stories shared with others.

The intertwined trunks represent strength through connection. Each remains distinct, but together they support something larger than either could hold alone.

The apple tree represents growth and the promise that thoughtful work can continue producing something good.

The apples represent what becomes possible when creativity is given roots, care, and room to grow.

A Message from Our Founder

I created MiKyl Creative Ventures because I have never believed that the meaningful parts of our lives exist separately. The things we create, the people we encounter, the faith and experiences that shape us, and the ways we serve others are all connected.

MiKyl gives those connections a place to grow. My hope is that each venture will remain true to its own purpose while contributing to something larger—work that encourages, inspires, and leaves something good behind.

MiKyl is still becoming, and so am I. I do not know every form the work will eventually take, but I know what will guide it: create honestly, build purposefully, and remain open to where one meaningful connection may lead.

Still Growing

MiKyl Creative Ventures is still becoming.

The ventures will continue to develop. New ideas may take root. The work may take different forms as new possibilities emerge.

Whatever grows from MiKyl will remain grounded in the same belief: what we create matters most when it connects us, serves a purpose, and leaves something good behind.
